Story of K
The Story of K
K at age 2 mom in 2017. K could not stand on his own and sucks only his mom's breast, which he vomits after each round - a medical condition called Pyloric stenosis. The family needed an equivalence of $3,000.00 for corrective surgery. The mom is a 24-year-old stay-at-home mom who spends the two years of her marriage crying every day and waiting for the day a miracle would happen, or K would die.
IHM Development Mission raised the needed fund. At the first booking of the surgery, K did not have enough blood or flesh, and it was canceled. Eventually, in September 2017, K had surgery at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Itukun-Ozalla, Enugu State.
IHM Development Mission exists for families like this. Support us to continue such a mission.
